I’m taking the hard road, because the easy road is rarely the best one.
Let’s get something straight: this site doesn’t run ads. You won’t see blinking banners, auto-playing videos, creepy personalized suggestions, or cookie popups that feel like hostage negotiations. I’m not here to mine your data or trick you into engagement.
This isn’t about being holier-than-thou. It’s about being honest, because I’m tired of the internet turning into one giant surveillance operation wrapped in clickbait.
This Site Is Homegrown. No WordPress, No Third-Party Platforms.
I built this site from the ground up, writing every line of code myself. No WordPress, no site builders, no cookie-cutter themes. That way, I keep complete control over how the site runs, how your data is handled, and how content is delivered. No backdoors, no hidden scripts, no corporate handshakes behind the scenes.
So how does this thing stay alive?
By me right now, but in the future, I borrowed a model from the No Agenda show, called “value for value.” If you get something out of what I make, give something back. That could be a donation, spreading the word, sending feedback, or helping me improve what I do. I won’t shove it in your face, but the option is there. That’s the deal.
If you want to support directly, you can do that here:
https://nofluff.site/donate. It’s simple, no tiers, no gimmicks, give what you think it’s worth.
Do some of my YouTube videos get monetized?
They might, especially the scenic 10-minute drives and playlists. I’m not pretending to be a martyr. But I’m upfront about it: short content that might go viral could end up monetized. The site content itself? Kept clean, by design. And if you want to catch the video side of what I do, that’s over here:
https://nofluff.site/yt.
There’s no Google Analytics here.
I built my own simple tracking system. I’m not interested in figuring out what you want for dinner, or your innermost thoughts, or selling you a car. I just want to know what’s working and what’s not. That’s it.
And if you don’t want to be tracked at all?
Send me an email, and I’ll delete all your data within 24 hours, no questions asked. I’ll also make sure the system stops tracking you from that point on.
Not kidding. I say the same thing in the privacy policy, and unlike most of the tech world, this one isn’t 15 pages long. It’s short, blunt, and written like you’re a human being, not a loophole waiting to be exploited.
There will be a full article on that coming soon. Because “simple and honest” isn’t a marketing gimmick, it’s how everything should be built.
No gimmicks. No popups. No ads. No bullshit. No fluff at all.
